1. Platform Overview & Use Case

Filax Gaming is an online platform that enables gamers to participate in matches and tournaments. WhatsApp is used solely to deliver time-sensitive, account-related notifications and to respond to user-initiated support inquiries.

Primary purpose: Ensure users receive important match and account updates in a timely manner.

2. WhatsApp Message Categories

WhatsApp messages sent through our platform fall into the following categories:

• Utility: Match confirmations, tournament schedule changes, account status updates, and data deletion confirmations.
• Service: Replies to customer support requests initiated by the user.
• Marketing: Promotional offers, specialized discounts, and news regarding new game additions or platform features.

Note: Promotional messages are only sent to users who have explicitly opted in during registration or via their settings.

3. User Opt-In Process

WhatsApp messaging is optional and requires explicit user consent. Users may opt in during account registration or later through their profile settings.

• Consent mechanism: A clearly labeled checkbox stating agreement to receive transactional and promotional WhatsApp and Email messages.
• Default state: The checkbox is unchecked by default.
• Consent logging: We store the date, time, and IP address associated with the consent.

4. Opt-Out & Message Control

Users may withdraw their WhatsApp consent at any time by:

• Disabling WhatsApp notifications in their account profile settings
• Contacting our support team for assistance

Once consent is withdrawn, no further WhatsApp messages are sent.

5. Data Privacy & Handling

User phone numbers are used only for WhatsApp message delivery via Meta Platforms, Inc.

We do not store the content of WhatsApp messages beyond minimal delivery and consent logs required for operational and compliance purposes.
